My name is Fatima Rivas and I’m 20 years old. I’m studying nursing at Universidad Nacional de Piura.
I study Nursing because I like helpING people. I usually have classes in the morning and in the afternoon. I Also study dancING at university on TuesdayS from 8:00am till 11:30am but I haven’t classes at the moment.
I’m A big fan of salsa and pop but I can’t stand rap music. In my free time I enjoy listenING to music, watching TV, sleepING, chatting on the Net, or going out with my best friends.
Cajamarca is one of the most interesting place I know, and best of all it is in our country, and near Piura.
The city is very beautiful and preserved colonial architecture, is a blend of Peruvian and Spanish cultures. In the months of February and March, the city is full of color, as they celebrate the traditional “carnaval de Cajamarca,” where there are parades, lots of music, joy and beauty.
Cajamarca is surrounded by extensive and beautiful valleys, accompanied by large farms and dairy farms make it a magical place.
There is a very special place in Cajamarca, called “Baños del Inca” where many tourists come to bathe in its warm waters, and try its healing powers, it is said that the thermal waters have sulfur compounds that are ideal for diseases of the bones.
In Cajamarca, I knew historical places a s the “Ventanas de Otuzco”, “El cuarto de rescate” and the Cumbemayo arquiologico complex, which magically took us to ancient epoch.
For these and many other reasons, such as food and people, I visit again and again Cajamarca.
